Flash Live Action Movie

Flash the movieThere is a live action Flash movie ahead of us! Scriptwriter Dan Mazeau, who has been hired by Warner Bros., is indeed working on a script:

"The Flash has not been hobbled. Everything is moving forward as planned… I'm still writing the script. Geoff Johns is still consulting. Flash fans have no cause for concern, and — IMO — lots to be excited about."

Actually we've heard about the Flash movie since a while, but there was nothing concrete until now. So I am quite glad that the Flash is still kicking and alive, preparing to hit theaters at full speed in a not so distant future.

The Flash had many incarnations along the years. I would like the film to focus on Barry Allen: a police scientist who gained super-speed when bathed by chemicals after a shelf of them was struck by lightning. But some are hinting at Wally West (Barry Allen's nephew) as the focus of the Flash movie.

The Wally West trend may have been spurred by this fan-made movie trailer of Flash:

THE FLASH

It's a quite impressive trailer of the Flash even if it's not official.

Anyway, Barry Allen or Wally West, I guess I'd enjoy whatever version of the Flash they'd chose, well, as long as the Flash keeps making his jokes!
:)

Update: Scriptwriters Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim have taken over the project
